About ME
Sean Mackin was born and raised outside the twin cities of Minnesota and has subsequently lived in Madison, WI, Amsterdam, NL, Sebastopol, CA, Walnut Creek, CA, Berkeley, CA, Chicago, IL, and Denver, CO. Each place has shaped him in some way and provided inspiration for his work.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Edgewood College and recently earned a post-baccalaureate certificate in digital content management from Northwestern University.
A lifelong visual artist, he has recently expanded his work to digital design and branding with the hope that he can bring some of the emotional and textured sensibilities of his analog art to the digital world. He is now working in higher education while also doing freelance graphic design work and art commissions on the side.
