Ryde4Life

For this project, I worked with EZ Ride — a non-profit organization in New Jersey that provides shuttle services to New Jersey and surrounding areas in addition to promoting walking and biking for kids. They needed to replace the logo for one of their programs which provides on-demand rideshare services to seniors and disabled residents who may not be able to easily use a smartphone. The members of this program can call a number and have a representative organize the whole trip for them over the phone and handle any issues that come up on the member’s behalf. The idea was to create a logo that showed exactly what the program did and how easy it could be. Considering the demographic which was likely to use this program I used the iconography of traditional phones and taxies to represent the program. One arrow goes from the phone to the taxi, and a dotted arrow goes toward the phone to represent the taxi coming to the member. I also updated all of their old logos to ensure they were visually consistent in their color and format.
