City of Chester Giving Circle

This project was for a foundation based outside of Philadelphia, PA who needed a logo for their giving circle program that operates in Chester, PA. I wanted to do something with this that really reflected what the program does while not looking too generic. I think I was able to accomplish both of these goals with the final design which is a circle of hands each giving a small circle to create a larger circle. I used the foundation’s own color scheme so it would create a cohesive sense of identity with this program. For the typeface I used a rounded friendly-looking family of fonts called Filson. The bottom right design was another concept that I came up with that I thought looked good but didn’t accurately represent the program.
